Never Thot I'd See the Day...

For people familiar with expressions like "He doesn't know Shiite (or shite rhymes with white - ANOTHER change from the OLDE SCHOOL - real word is among the 7 forbidden radio/TV) from Shinola (a LEATHER SHOE WAX in a small round can that pops open magically) - there are things olde schoolers THOUGHT they'd never see.

There is actually a WATCH called SHINOLA you can assemble yourself. Here's the ad link:

Just search engine Mitt-ola the Shinola Romney AND the link will appear as if by magic!

Rationale: Trying to find out if English word for FRENCH MERDE - would be readily available - NO - too harsh - F word much more common in thevernacular these days.

HMM just search engine and seek Mitt the Shinola Romney and it will appear to sell a build-it-yourself watch called SHINOLA that is apparently "Made on Detroit" which hopefully isn't Detroit, China like that not so famous USA, Japan. Yes the Japanese actually re-named a town USA so they could put USA on their manufactured products. At the time, they had gone from making sideshow cupie dolls of chalk to more complicated items and were trying to build a market so Americans would forget all about dropping cupie dolls and giving the pieces to little girls for hop-scotch designs on sidewalks. (Another L-O-N-G story that has long been forgotten.)

Anyway - the NEW SCHOOL literally does NOT know SHIITE from SHINOLA - since one is a UK pronounciation after Flight Lockerbe was bombed from the sky and SHINOLA is not WEARABLE as a WATCH assembled from a kit apparently. Not only can a bicycle KIT be purchased so a DAD can assemble it from 8 PM to 6 AM Christmas morning but he can make himself w WATCH on Christmas Day the MOM and the kids bought especially for ol' do-it-to-yourself DAD!

By the way or BTW - when buying a bike-in-a-box one is SUPPOSED TO purchase it ahead of time and PAY for its assembly before it gets to scratch up the family car on the way home. This insures that some BLOKE or GUY - perhaps even a native American er born in America er German-Irish-Scotch descent unemployed person can make "survival money" from the "box store" for assembling the bicycle. Maybe a few questions to the "BOX STORE MANAGER and this talented engineer fellow can assemble that SHINOLA WATCH that was also involved with Christmas, Kawanza, EID, Winter Solstice or Hannika.

But I never thought I'd see the day that a US born engineer would be MORE THAN HAPPY to assemble "Christmas GIFT KITS"for his/her own Christmas money or "survival money."

IRS Private Official Collection Agencies

Nowadays one must stay ahead of all those rascally and devious - some being completely FOREIGN
cybercriminals, who are always out in full force during tax season, the US government will try to keep taxpayers informed of the latest scams. Unfortunately, a new rule with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is going to muddy the waters CONSIDERABLY when trying to DISCERN A REAL COLLECTION AGENCY FROM a coy, CLEVER AND MANIPULATIVE - scammer.

What IRS change could cause confusion with taxpayers? COLLECTION!!!

What we're talking about is the way the IRS collects a tax debt. Time and time again we've told you that if anyone calls you claiming to be collecting a tax debt, hang up. That's because the IRS had a rule that they would never ask for payment information over the phone.

That changed YEARS AGO.

The IRS started using third-party debt collectors. It began private collection of certain overdue federal tax debts in April 2017 and has selected four contractors to implement the new program. The IRS posted this explanation on its site:
If you're worried that the person calling could have been from the IRS, the police or a reputable company, find their website and look for contact information. Then, you call them

"The new program, authorized under a federal law enacted by Congress last December, enables these designated contractors to collect, on the government's behalf, outstanding inactive tax receivables. Authorized under a federal law enacted by Congress in December 2015, Section 32102 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act (FAST Act) requires the IRS to use private collection agencies for the collection of outstanding inactive tax receivables."

These private collection agencies will be working on older accounts where the taxpayer owes money but the IRS has stopped working on the account.
How to identify an IRS phone scam

Knowing that this rule change could open the floodgates on phone scams, the IRS is telling taxpayers what to watch out for.

Expect written correspondence - If you are impacted by this change, the IRS will give taxpayers and their representatives written notice that the accounts are being transferred to private collection agencies. The agencies will send a second, separate letter to the taxpayer and their representative confirming this transfer.
Electronic Payment - Private collection agencies will NOT ask for payment on a prepaid debit, iTunes or gift card. Taxpayers will be informed about electronic payment options on IRS.gov.
Checks - Payment by check should be payable to the U.S. Treasury and sent directly to the IRS, not the private collection agency.

So if you receive a call from someone claiming to collect an IRS debt, it could actually be real now. If you are concerned that the call is a scam, ask the alleged representative for their toll-free number. Here are the four private collection agencies that the IRS will assign cases to:

    CBE - P.O. Box 2217 Waterloo, IA 50704  1-800-910-5837
    ConServe - P.O. Box 307 Fairport, NY 14450-0307  1-844-853-4875
    Performant - P.O. Box 9045 Pleasanton, CA 94566-9045  1-844-807-9367
    Pioneer - P.O. Box 500 Horseheads, NY 14845  1-800-448-3531

If you're skeptical about the agent on the phone, get their company information, phone number and extension. Then call the company's official toll-free number listed above.

The IRS also urges you to stay vigilant against tax scams from anyone claiming to be collecting on the agency's behalf. Even with private debt collection, you shouldn't receive unexpected phone calls from the IRS demanding payment. When people owe tax, the IRS always sends several collection notices through the mail before making phone calls.

vate collection agencies:

    CBE
    P.O. Box 2217
Waterloo, IA 50704 Napoleon met his Waterloo and YOU can too.
    1-800-910-5837

    1-800-448-3531

If you do not wish to work with the assigned private collection agency to settle your overdue tax account, you must submit a request in writing to the private collection agency.
Accounts Not Assigned To Private Collection Agencies

IRS will not assign accounts to private collection agencies involving taxpayers who are:

Deceased (Does this mean the "Willie Nelson saying is WRONG? No, they REMAIN the IRS and as such they remain far more tenacious than any "Lady of the Night."
    Under the age of 18
    In designated combat zones
    Victims of tax-related identity theft
Currently under examination, litigation, criminal investigation or levy
Subject to pending or active offers in compromise
    Subject to an installment agreement
Subject to a right of appeal
    Classified as innocent spouse cases
In presidentially declared disaster areas and requesting relief from collection

Private collection agencies will return accounts to the IRS if taxpayers and their accounts fall into any of these 10 situations after assignment to the private collection agencies.
Stay Vigilant Against Scams

The IRS urges you to be on the lookout for unexpected scam phone calls from anyone claiming to be collecting on behalf of the tax agency.

The IRS will do everything it can do to help you avoid confusion and ensure you understand your rights and tax responsibilities when it assigns your case to a private collection agency. This is particularly important in light of continuing scams where callers impersonate IRS agents and request immediate payment.

Even with private debt collection, you shouldn’t receive unexpected phone calls from the IRS demanding payment. When people owe tax, the IRS always sends several collection notices through the mail before making phone calls.

Before THINKING that Democrat was lower than a "snake's belly" -- maybe he was trying to get some HELP for people attacked by collection agancies and THOUGHT this was the only way?

Facebook, since it launched in 2004, is so popular, that there are approximately 2 billion active monthly users worldwide, which is amazing!

Not surprisingly, with that incredible number of active users, Facebook is of a certainty to be a major go-to-target for cybercriminals. Although a few of the scams found on the Facebook are relatively harmless, several others can actually cause serious problems.

Like VDare, the site uses an algorithm that tracks users in order to provide targeted ads. The site monitors should you click "like" on something, or tag photos from specific locations and sells this information for marketing purposes. This is why Mark Zuckerburg 's personal wealth is estimated to be BILLION$.

Currently there are work-from-home scams such as THIS ONE:

Binary Option schemes claim to possess the secret to becoming filthy, dirty, WEALTHY from certain stock investments. The CATCH IS that financial experts say unregulated investment platforms such as this are very much like a form of gambling and not actual investing.

A large number of these work-from-home ads are merescams, attempting to convince users to open an account with a specific broker like one at a certain bank that makes hundreds of dollars vanish as if by magic even if you DROP OUT that same day! These "COMMISSIONS".are said to not be refundable because the person who created the ad on Facebook gets paid a commission when they get new users to sign-up.

The problem with these posts is that many people believe because of FACEBOOK that the ads are actual business models because Facebook allows them on users News Feed. Once Facebook shows you a targeted post, CONFIDENCE IN FACEBOOK should be OK and it should be safe to assume it's not a scam but that is NOT the case.

The FACEBOOK vetting process JUST MAKES SURE that the post isn't promoting an illegal venture such as MURDER FOR HIRE so since it is only ROOKING people with "SIGN-UP CHARGES", itcan make it through the vetting process with EASE.

Should a targeted ad promoting a get-rich-quick scheme, ONE'S best move is to just IGNORE IT BECAUSE there really is NO way to beat the system, but the SYSTEM will beat YOU to a PULP financially.

2. ANOTHER IS,"Warning, your account is going to be disabled"!

This scam POSSIBLY POSTED posted on your News Feed, or as an email in your inbox, is actually a phishing attack.

How the scam works:

A) the victim gets a message warning them that their Facebook account is about to be disabled BECAUSE someone has reported the account as violating Facebook's terms of service.

B) ANOTHER GRAVE message then says if you are the original owner of the account, you need to re-confirm its details to avoid having it blocked. AND TRIES TO FORCE YOU to click on the link within the message with the THREAT that Facebook's system will block your account and you will never be able to use it again. (THIS IS A TELL-TALE LIE because Twitter and Facebook WILL USUALLY allow you to DEFEND YOURSELF FROM "TROLLING" people who MAY DECLARE that you "OFFENDED" them somehow. This just DISABLES the LINK to THEIR ACCOUNT since they CANNOT "GET YOU".

Warning! NEVER click ANY LINK the link INSIDE an EMAIL message OR a FACEBOOK MESSAGE because it's a "SNEAKY SNAKE" hoax that is PHISHING TO GET YOUR PRIVATE DATA!

If you do click on the link you will be taken to a fake site that is CLEVERLY and DECEPTIVELY designed to look like a Facebook login page. Perhaps this is WHY TWITTER forces so many password changes BECAUSE as a victim YOU COULD have TYPED IN YOUR PASSWORD and other credentials and the cybercriminal STOLE them. Believe -- only BELIEVE that nothing good will come from that.

AS an example of the hoax from an actual News Feed recently:

Stormy Daniels on Kimmel in January this year. She told him: ‘That does not look like my signature, does it?’
The lady who has a lot to gain by embelishing and "loading" her book with extra excitement in her "Full Disclosure" didn't mind smearing President Trump who has met and meets even more people these days. If she passed him in a hallway of a hotel and later decided to "get famous" by 'joining his haters" - she has a very willing audience these days who will buy her book which could be even more fictitious that the Bob Woodward undocumented and not even sourced - book.

Certainly, writing about a sitting US president can sell books - whether there is any truth or not.

And writing about a Republican in a fantasy tome cannot hurt one's career IF one is already "walking on the wild side".Now, where were all those former lovers of #44? The tabloids mentioned at least 4 and they were far from "beautiful" or even "sexy".

Probably Trump's first reaction was,"Who?"Who could or would HAZARD a guess at Obama's reaction to finding out about "stories"? the keyword here is "audacity"...or perhaps foolhardiness.

Wikipedia lists 2009-2015 White House breaches to security:

Adesanya's lawyer said that he suffered from schizophrenia.
